Finally. Learn to DJ
like an instrument.
Music stores have teachers for every instrument — except turntables, CDJs and controllers. Now you can learn from the DJ other DJs learn from.

Training FAQ
Couldn’t I learn this from YouTube?
Videos can’t see where you’re stumbling. Private instruction gives real-time feedback, prevents bad habits that are very hard to break later, and gets you to your goals faster.
How much do DJ lessons cost?
Lessons are $80 an hour. We recommend weekly or bi-weekly sessions.
What’s the difference between lessons and the training program?
Lessons are at-your-own-pace and open to anyone who wants to DJ for enjoyment. The Training Program is an application-based, 3-month “DJ Boot Camp” designed to make you a professional ready for paid work.
How much is the training program — and can it be free?
The program is $1,500 up front. Complete it (we’ll work with you up to 5 months), then successfully perform 10 paid events with SoundFire DJ and you get the full $1,500 back as a bonus, plus an offer to keep working with us.
What do I need to get started?
A laptop or tablet with Serato, Rekordbox, Virtual DJ or djay; your own controller, CDJs or turntables; a legitimate music source (Beatport or similar for training students); decent headphones; eventually a speaker; and a desire to learn.
The most important investment is in yourself.
Tell us your goals and we’ll recommend lessons or the Boot Camp.
